Reducing the impact of our operations

We are working on several projects at present including:-

• Upgrading equipment to meet better safety and environmental standards. Significant investments in new platemaking, presses and finishing equipment have been made in the last 12 months.
• Increasing the use of vegetable-based inks with lower solvent mixtures
• Reducing water usage on the presses
• Reducing the volumes of solvents such as IPA used on the presses
• Reducing transport journeys for waste collections by the acquisition of additional baling and compacting equipment
• Reducing the use of virgin packaging
• Offering our customers a packaging return service
• Expanding the use of FSC/PEFC approved papers by our customers.
